Does swishing with hydrogen peroxide to whiten teeth eat the enamel off of your teeth?

I’ve been wanting to make my teeth whiter so I thought about using hydrogen peroxide but, I was wondering if it could potentially hurt my teeth.. Answers?

The main risk from using hydrogen peroxide is chemical burns causing damage to your gums. For this reason you should only use proprietary tooth whitening products, that have safe levels of hydrogen peroxide. Peroxide will not remove any of the enamel, it just whitens it.
